Members.
Lucan United Fc has over 500 members and those members are all supported by over 100 volunteers who give up there time in order for you our members to play football. All we ask in return is that you show some respect and you show your support at a couple of events a year. The money raised is used to improve or sustain the facilities that you enjoy every week.
Volunteers are key to running clubs or supplying any sort of sport or activities in a community. They are not looking for thanks or any sort of appreciation. All they want is that from time to time you give your help when you can by supporting the events they tirelessly arrange to raise money to support your children.
Local football clubs such as Lucan United Fc do not operate to make a profit and in fact if any money ever does become available its put straight back into facilities or some sort of improvement. What we promise to do is not waist any money that comes in and use it to its full potential. We know that not everyone is in a position to help in fundraising events and that is totally understandable in the mordern climate. But if you are we ask that you do.
As the family day gets closer (31st of May) we now need the sponsor cards to be sold. We would ask that every family try bring in sponsors on one card. You can pick up your card from your manager or a member of the committee. It is important that the Family Fun day goes well for the club and that our members enjoy the experience.
